From the small hicktown of Chillicothe, Ohio comes the next metallic goliath. Woe Of Tyrants is comprised of five long haired dudes who love to play metal as it was back in 1988, fast, furious and f*cking heavy. If you love the vintage sounds of Testament, Exodus, Metallica, Megadeth, Dark Angel and even the lesser known gods – Holy Terror (one of our personal faves here at Tribunal) then you are going to love what Woe Of Tyrants are doing in 2007. Recorded in their home state of Ohio, those sessions were handed over to producer, Jamie King (Between The Buried And Me, Killwhitneydead, Glass Casket, etc.) to handle the final mix to bring about the most crushing sound imaginable. With a modern attack that is reminiscent to Lamb Of God and Shadows Fall but still maintaining the classics sounds of their metal forefathers, Woe Of Tyrants is ready to educate and introduce current scenesters to what real metal is all about.
