Sacrificium - "Escaping The Stupor" (European Release) (Digipak)
Black Lotus Records - November 28, 2005 - {18 Studio Photos from 2005 and Liner Notes added}

"Escaping The Stupor" - [Album Lyrics (feat. Song Explanations)]
Over many years now, Sacrificium have proven themselves in the Death Metal underground as a relentless force of Extreme Metal. With two full-length CDs, two EPs and a couple of tours and a vast number of single shows all over Europe upon their sleeves, Sacrificium have found their own style with combining Death, Thrash and Technical Death Metal in their songs. However, if you think this is just another generic and futile mixture of styles, you underestimate Sacrificium by far. Killer double-kickdrum attacks are matched with aggressive and fierce guitar riffs and vocals which are hard to surpass in their brutality. Highspeed parts are skillfully blended with neck-breaking mosh parts without loosing the essence of the songs. Soon they will release their upcoming album Prey For Your Gods. Until then Sacrificium will be on tour in Europe to prepare the grounds for their third full-length release.

SACRIFICIUM - Biography
Versatile, energetic and profound - without neglecting brutal linearity. That’s distinctive for Sacrificium from Stuttgart, Germany. An over ten-year band history with many live appearances and quite a few line-up changes helped the band to achieve their maturity. Founded in 1993 in Waiblingen as a Thrash Metal band, soon after they changed their style and since then they blast with might in the Death Metal vein.
The first Demo CD was released in 1996 followed by the demo tape Mortal Fear in 1998. In 2002 there was a major step forward with their first full length album Cold Black Piece Of Flesh, released on Whirlwind Records. Basically into the old school Death Metal vein but with a significant approach to the modern views of the genre.
Every time at numerous shows in small and big clubs and on festivals in Germany and throughout Europe, Sacrificium gathered new fans. With live experience, enormous precision, energy and emotions Sacrificium rolls over their audience like thunder.
And so it happened that in summer 2005 Sacrificium caught the attention of Black Lotus Records and in winter 2006 their second album Escaping The Stupor got released worldwide by Black Lotus Records. With ads, reviews (e.g. Rock Hard 7,5/10, Legacy 10/15, MetalNews.de 6/7) and interviews in the major Metal Magazines it doesn’t want for nothing.
