2. Nothing

I can’t seem to answer all these questions in My Mind is running overtime to figure out This Life so full of anguish without all the death we see. I see, I hear you, but it’s so hard to believe. God, where are we now? Can you hear us through those clouds? When the rain is beating down? Our hopes and dreams never left the ground. Nothing’s being done for your daughters or your sons. Everything just stays the same. So they tell me Nothing’s your name. Do we believe in Nothing? (Nothing? Nothing? Nothing? Nothing? Nothing?) Scream at the sky! I scream at the sky! Into the big nothing, begging to hear something. Into the big nothing, begging to hear... Scream at the sky. As I close my eyes to sleep, I decide I still believe.

Song Explanation by vocalist Joe Musten:
"I basically wrote this song late one night when I was feeling frustrated with the world and where it seems to be headed. You know, I obviously believe in God, but sometimes it’s hard to see Him in this world. Rape, suicide, murder and betrayal are our newscasters’ favorite topics. It’s what people want to see. We are attracted to death. It’s disheartening to watch the news. People are addicted to being sick and being prescribed their cure." A bleak picture, for sure. For Musten, this mild depression is incapable of finding lasting root in his worldview. "I guess all can say is that this world is broke," Musten admits. "We are out of currency, we are out of answers and we are out of reasons to push on. But amongst all the darkness I still feel like there is hope. I still believe in The Unseen. Hope is real, I guess we all just gotta find it ourselves."

3. Overcome

This foolishness of the cross? Salvation for the lost? Are we deceiving ourselves for our cause? Yet when I still believe in a GOD I can’t see. What foolish things do we cling to? I stand accused, I’m a fool. This cross I cling to. I stand accused, I’m a fool. This cross I cling to. Will not be removed. I stand accused, I’m a fool, I cling to YOU. I am rooted in the truth. In the truth. You, ancient of days. I steep my heart in your almighty ways. Spit in the face of the. Saviour. Spit in the face of the. Save Your. Spit in the face of the. Saviour. Spit in the face of the. Save Your Breath. Spit in the face of the. Saviour. Spit in the face of the. Save Your. Spit in the face of the. Saviour. Spit in the face of the. Save Your Breath. Save your mockery. Saviour. Spit in the face of the. Save Your. Spit in the face of the. Saviour. Spit in the face of the. Save Your Breath. Saviour. Save me. Save me. Save me from myself. Overcome. I am not ashamed. To live is Christ, to die is surely gain. Overcome this worthless sense of grief. Stare death in the face. I am not afraid. OVERCOME. Overcome. We will stare death in the face. Stare death in the face. Overcome. Overcome. We will stare death in the face. Stare death in the face. OVERCOME.

4. Naked and Cold

Draped in anger and clothed in brokenness, we speak with frailty and false intelligence. Walking as if we’re numb to the pain, we stare in the graves as our nerves fade away. Cut to the heart. I repent. No longer cold. I repent. Face in the dirt. I repent. No longer cold. I repent. We are the product of mass prescription, sold to the sellers of every trend. Bound and gagged by the institutions, silence is their greatest demand. Will we use our voices to say anything worth saying at all? Hope for the hopeless. Strength for the weak. Love for the broken. Done to the least.... Will my generation know that they were bought... bought at a price more precious than gold? Will my generation know that they were bought... bought at a price more precious than gold? Cut to the heart. No longer cold. Face in the dirt. No longer cold.... Are... we... we... are we saying something... are we saying something... are we saying something... are we saying something real? We are the voice of a broken generation. Kicked out and beaten down. Religions all have failed us now. Retaliating against the old, with this bitter taste in our mouths. Left alone, naked and cold. We are the voice of a broken generation. Kicked out and beaten down. Religions all have failed us now. Retaliating against the old, with this bitter taste in our mouths. Left alone, naked and cold.

5. Fatherless

(Instrumental)

6. Pack of Fools

Show yourself to the world, the cancer that you are. You parade on the stage. Your followers in awe, engaged to a fake... to a fake. A snake charmer without a snake. You’re the death of their faith, and for that you will be burned alive at the stake. You think you’ve found your sheep to fool? I’ve warned you, but soon you will find out, you’ll find a pack of wolves... pack of wolves... pack of wolves. You’ll find a pack of wolves here! Pack Of Wolves. You’ll find a pack of wolves here! You’ll find no pack of fools here! Pack Of Wolves. You’ll find no pack of fools here. You turned around and found you’re all alone with no legs to stand on. No way to run away from the mess you’ve made to try and find another pack of fools... pack of fools... pack of fools... pack of fools.

7. Revival

There is a light in my heart, the catalyst to ignite the spark. There is a name on my tongue: Emmanuel, God with us. There is a cry from deep within our broken hearts for You to meet us here. And as we gather in this place, Lord send Your Spirit to ignite the flames of revival. Revival. Revival. Revival. God send revival. There is an Almighty King. His love endures. He makes righteous everything. His voice controls the seas. Lion of Judah, Prince of Peace. There is a name above all names. Jesus Christ, King of Kings. And as we gather in His name, strongholds will fall in the wake of the flames of revival. Revival. Revival. Revival.

8. Crown of Thorns

In loving kindness. Compassionate and gracious. You reached out Your hand to me. Dragged in the streets by mockers, by scoffers and thieves. Each to their own death they spit in Your face. You wept tears of forgiveness in loving and humble grace... He wept tears of grace, thinking of me still in my grave. Reached down His hand in Redeeming Grace. The stench of death hung over me. Reached down to say: “Son, you are free from this death you face!" "I’ll pay the price, I’ll give my life, I’ll lead the way." “Son, you must turn and must follow me!” Humble King. "Follow me." Humble King. "Follow me." Humble King. “Son, you are free from this death you face!” My heart breaks. My heart breaks. My heart breaks. My heart breaks. I see them shove it down... shove it down. Crown of Thorns. Crown of Thorns. Crown of Thorns. Crown of Thorns.

9. Golgotha

Tear me down. Tear me down. Tear me down. Set fire to my weakness. Place Your word inside my heart. Bring joy into my sadness. Your righteousness my rock. Your mercy is my comfort, Your grace is all I need. Your Name it goes before me. Your blood it sets me free... The chains of death are no more. The chains of death are loosed. For all men, atonement for all sin... How do I know this peace inside of me? How do I have this peace inside of me? How do I hear this peace inside of me? How do I have this peace inside of me? Your love. Your love. Your voice. Your word. Your love. Your voice. Your word. Your love. Your voice. Your word. Your love. Your voice. Your word. Lead me away. Only my flesh is afraid. Lead me away. Lead me away. Pick up my cross. I die daily. I will follow Him to the place of the skull. I will follow You to the place of the skull. Golgotha. Golgotha.

10. Pierced With Grief

Pierce yourself with grief. Your hope in worthless things. Your falsehoods and your blood money cry out against you even now. Wealth of men means nothing after death. Wealth of money hungry hypocrites, sealed in mansions in the deepest depths of fiery hell. Weep and wail. Fatten yourself for the day of slaughter. Woe to you. Condemn yourself you rich oppressor... Children of misfortune littering the streets. Passing by your mansions, laying broken dreams at your feet. Looking from your high-rise the poor seem so small. Crush Them under the weight of your corporate monster, slaving away kills them all... What have we done to our faith? Why have we killed in His name? Children are being enslaved as we chase fortune and fame. What have we done to our faith? Why have we killed in His name? Children are being enslaved as we chase fortune and fame... We’ve paved our... We’ve paved our own way. We’ve... We’ve paved our... We’ve paved our own streets straight to hell. We’ve paved our own streets straight to hell. We’ve paved our own streets straight to hell. Weep and wail. Fatten yourself for the day of slaughter. Woe to you. Condemn yourself you rich oppressor. All we have to offer You is the blood washed from our hands. Paved (paved) with (with) blood. Paved (paved) with (with) blood.

11. With Anger

State your values. State your case. State your purpose. We just want to hear you say you’re fake. We Scream with anger but not from hate. We Scream with passion but not for fame. We Scream resistance to see a change. We Scream for justice to see a better day. Your words mean nothing. Your words mean nothing. With Anger! In Anger! From Anger! I draw the line within. You Scream for nothing, your actions speak. You Scream for boasting, you’ll have your fame. You Scream injustice and you’ll find it in the face of every follower running in circles... Running in circles. Recreating waste. Your words mean nothing. Recreating waste. Running in circles. Recreating waste. Your words mean nothing. You’re recreating waste...

12. Out of Line

The American way. I pray to God, this lie will have nothing to do with me. American way. The lie of the century. Told by the great deceiver. Laid down as a law of the land. To question is the greatest of sins. So we raise up our flags. Call ourselves the chosen sons of God. Add another link in the chain. Get in line. Assimilate. It’s your call to be true to red, white and blue. But is there something truly wrong when we drape the flag over the Cross? You say freedom isn’t free, but who the Son sets free is free indeed. We’re freed by His name, not by homeland security. I will never be ashamed of My Redeemer’s mighty name and I will never run and hide...hide under the flag of violent pride. I step out of line. I step out of line. And so I step out of line. Raise the flag. Raise the flag up high. Raise the flag. Raise the flag. I walk against violent pride with these violent strides. In defiance of prideful men. I stand against blind allegiance to a nation that kills its children. To a nation that profits in death. To a nation that reaps what it sows. Blood, sweat and tears. Reap the flag. Reap the flag. Blood. Sweat. Death. Blood. Sweat. Death. We will reap blood, sweat, death. Blood. Sweat. Death. Blood. Sweat. Death. Blood. Sweat. Death. We will reap blood, and sweat, and death. We will reap blood, sweat, death.
